Each appliance is comprehensively tested to meet the exacting requirements of the IEE code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. We use the latest computerised PAT testing equipment and are able to test all portable appliances in your workplace including (including IT equipment). The inspection and testing will be undertaken by a fully qualified electrical testing technician.

It is a requirement that all electrical equipment that is to be tested be disconnected from the mains supply. While we appreciate any inconvenience that this can cause, test work cannot be undertaken unless it is completely safe to do so.

StormPAT will attend at a time agreed by you and will inspect the plug, fuse, case, lead and situation/application of every appliance. We will apply an accurate and complete electrical safety test using the latest high quality (and fully calibrated) instruments. We will change plugs and fuses as necessary at an agreed nominal charge.

Minor faults found during the course of the inspection can be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested. More serious faults will always be quoted for first.

On completion of the testing you will be issued with a safety certificate and a detailed report (which can be downloaded to a PC) outlining details on each individual item. All items that pass the inspection and testing procedure will be labelled with a safety sticker attachedl to your appliance (not to the plug) stating its number, test date, retest date, our contact name and telephone number.
